Crane Aerospace & Electronics i s looking for a full time Recruiting Coordinator (Contract) for our Lynnwood, WA location.
Job Summary:
The Recruiting Coordinator plays an important role in the hiring process by partnering closely with our recruiting team and hiring managers and interacting in a positive and engaging way with our candidates. This candidate will work effectively with internal and external clients and candidates, possess great communication skills, have the ability to shift gears at a moment’s notice and enjoy the challenges of helping to build a great organization of talented individuals.
Essential Functions:
Entering requisitions in the recruiting system and monitoring/reporting on status
Updating candidate records and job postings in recruiting systems and supporting Crane recruiters with their processes
sourcing candidates for current or upcoming requisitions as assigned
Tracking recruiting activities and providing candidate status in weekly reports
Initiating and tracking candidate background checks
Preparing offer letters and other on-boarding documents
Support recruitment for hourly roles including completing intake meetings with hiring managers, research, interviewing, screening and referring candidates for job openings.
File and maintain employment records
Maintain the confidentiality of all employee personnel records, payroll records, personnel-related correspondence, conversations, and any other issues
Assisting in the coordination of other recruiting activities as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: 2+ years of related experience in a Human Resources, Recruiting, or Administrative role OR a recent college graduate with a focus in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar
Knowledge :
Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality
Previous experience with PeopleSoft, preferred
Skills/Abilities:
Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives
Customer service orientation with the ability to work well under pressure
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with high level of quality and productivity
Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Approachable, flexible and adaptable to change
Demonstrated aptitude with Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook; HR management systems; Internet
Education/Certification: High School Diploma or equivalent
Eligibility Requirement : This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field, preferred
Working Conditions :
· Standard office environment
· Work requires substantial visual concentration on detail
· Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
· Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE
· May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes
Standing: 10% *percentage is approximate and may vary depending on work task
Sitting: 90% *percentage is approximate and may vary depending on work task
Lifting (in pounds): up to 10 pounds
