Amazon Senior Program Manager, EU Supply Chain Placement Analytics & Engineering in Luxembourg, Luxembourg
Description
Have you ever wondered how Amazon delivers so quickly, or if delivery speeds could improve even further? In the Amazon EU Supply Chain Placement Analytics & Engineering team, we drive innovation for our customers to enhance product availability and speed while reducing costs and carbon emissions. This role will give an unique view into Amazon Inventory Placement systems, processes, and operations, enabling collaboration with planning, operations, and technical teams. Among others, you will have the opportunity to simplify our supply chain network to deliver faster and cheaper.

Key job responsibilities
• Work backwards from strategic output metrics. Define and track input metrics to drive a business goal.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and remove blockers to accelerate delivery.
• Partner with Tech teams to prioritize and implement business-critical solutions.
• Effectively communicate progress and insights to senior stakeholders across Supply Chain, Finance, FBA, and Retail.
A day in the life
• Collaborate with a diverse team of Program/Product Managers, Business Intelligence Engineers, Data Scientists and Finance Analysts to develop the right mechanisms to work backwards from a business goal.
• Partner with Business and Tech teams to prioritize impactful insights or get support for an initiative.
• Understand systems affecting Placement decisions.
• Monitor key metrics and response efforts when anomalies occur with the help of Business Intelligence Engineers or Data Scientists.
• Design and coordinate data-driven experiments to drive innovation.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly business performance updates.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience in program or project management
Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
Basic SQL skills for data retrieval
