Account Manager - Captive Insurance (Luxembourg)

Aon Insurance Managers is one of the largest Captive Manager in the world operating in all major captive domiciles including Guernsey, Ireland, Luxembourg, Italy, Bermuda, and Switzerland.

Our wide-ranging business activities are focused on insurance/reinsurance management and, in close cooperation with our sister company AGRC, risk finance consulting services.

To further strengthen our team in Luxembourg, we are currently seeking to appoint an Account Manager.

What the day will look like

The Account Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of clients, ensuring that the client needs are met, working with team members to ensure the clients’ companies under management remain in compliance with regulatory and accounting requirements.

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of clients and be their primary contact,

  • Preparation and review of financial statements to strict deadlines as well as budgets & forecasts.

  • Co-ordination and completion statutory audits.

  • Preparation of materials for client board meetings, taking notes and preparation of minutes,

  • Preparation of Tax and VAT returns

  • Liaison with senior executives of major global corporations and insurance supervisors.

Skills and experience that will lead to success.

  • Previous experience in the (Re)Insurance and/or Captive Insurance industry – Highly desirable

  • Solid experience within Accounting - highly desirable

  • Fluent proficiency in French and English is essential and knowledge of another European Language is advantageous.

  • Proficiency in MS Office software is essential.
