Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with a focus on Lathe experience. While programming experience is a plus, it is not required. The ideal candidate should be able to read blueprints and use a tape measure accurately. Experience with G and M coding and set up is preferred but not mandatory. As a part of a small and growing team of 15 to 20 employees, you will need to follow instructions carefully to ensure machines are set to the correct dimensions and measurements, and be willing to help out wherever necessary.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC Lathe machines efficiently and accurately.
Read and interpret blueprints and use a tape measure.
Follow detailed instructions to set machines to the correct dimensions.
Assist in various tasks around the shop as needed.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Essential Skills
Experience with CNC Lathe machines.
Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure.
Understanding of G and M coding.
Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Solid work tenure with at least a year at each previous company.
Ability to stand on feet for the entire workday.
Team player mentality.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Machining degree from a technical school or 5-10 years of equivalent experience.
Experience with CNC Mills.
Experience with machine programming.

Work Environment
The work hours are from 7:30 AM to 4 PM in a laid-back, family-owned environment with 15 to 20 employees. The shop is not temperature controlled, but we offer flexible hours to accommodate your needs.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Luverne, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
