ROBESON COUNTY PHN II in Lumberton, North Carolina
**DUTIES: Employee in this position will provide Postpartum/Newborn Home visit assessments. This position requires substantial specialized nursing skills to assess the physical, emotional and socioeconomic status of the family and use the assessment to guide interventions and/or referrals. This position requires 60 home visits per month, an average of 3 visits per workday. Must be a self-motivated nurse with time management skills. Applicants must have excellent communication skills to work with the residents of Robeson County and coordinate referrals from Southeastern Health.
*MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Graduation from a four-year college or university with a B.S. Degree in Nursing which includes a Public Health Nursing rotation and one year of Public Health Nursing experience; or Masters in Public Health and graduation from a school of professional nursing and one year of professional nursing experience; or graduation from a school of professional nursing and two years of professional nursing experience including one year of Public Health Nursing experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. *A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina by the N.C. Board of Nursing.
**SALARY: $59,110.24
*Applicant must take and successfully pass a pre-employment drug test, Motor Vehicle Records driver license check, as well as submit to random, reasonable suspicion and post-accident drug and alcohol testing. A criminal background check must be completed by the County of Robeson for potential applicants. Applicants not residing in Robeson County will be required to provide a certified criminal background check from the county in which they reside.
