Humana Inc. seeks a Senior Application Architect in Louisville, KY.Duties: Design and develop IT applications architecture solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards. Work with assignments involving moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Perform technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications. Develop specifications for new products, services, applications, and service offerings. Assess the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent applications. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. 100% telecommuting permitted within the U.S.Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 5 years of as a Software Application Developer or in related roles. This role requires 5 years of experience in each of the following • Technical planning and architectural development of business functions. • Gathering and refining requirements for application functionality. • Analyzing platform firmware version releases for applicability to business functionality. • Analyzing opportunities and designing and building automation for process improvement.• Enforcing security standards and vulnerability remediation. This role requires 5 years of experience in datapower platform configuration and maintenance. Pre-employment background check and drug screening required.
