Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Perform maintenance and repair tasks on equipment, electrical systems, and structures. Responsibilities include working on plumbing due to extensive piping systems, maintaining pumps and valves, light forklift troubleshooting, welding tasks, and motor repairs (480v). You will supervise outside contractors, coordinate with the engineering staff on new developments, and plan, communicate, and report on maintenance activities regularly.
Hard Skills
Maintenance and repair of industrial equipment
Experience with coating tanks, sensors, wiring, plumbing
Proficiency with 480V 3-phase electric systems
Knowledge of PLC's and VFD's
Experience with PVC piping
Soft Skills
Ability to supervise and manage contractors
Strong communication and coordination skills
Effective planning and reporting abilities
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Louisville, Kentucky.
Work Environment
Day shift (Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) with paid lunch. Transition to 3rd shift expected after 3-4 months of training. Requires ability to be on-call as needed. Work environment may be dirty.
