About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our Field Services team. This position involves a combination of deskside support (approximately 60%) and ticket callbacks (approximately 40%), such as handling hardware orders and resolving previously incomplete tickets. The role typically requires managing 5-10 tickets daily through a ticketing system. You will work alongside a team of technicians to provide exceptional support to various agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver desktop support for devices such as desktops, laptops, tablets, copiers, printers, and phones (VoIP/mobile/analog).
Perform hardware/software troubleshooting and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Travel across eight counties in and around the Louisville area, primarily within Jefferson County (a vehicle is available for this purpose).
Assist with servers, routers, and network switches as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Experience configuring, setting up, and installing computer equipment.
Familiarity with ticketing software for issue tracking.
Ability to remain composed under pressure.
Proven expertise in both hardware and software support.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Windows operating systems (e.g., Windows 7, Windows 10).
Proficiency in troubleshooting and providing technical support.
Knowledge of tools and processes related to device imaging, software support, and deployment.
Strong team collaboration and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Additional Qualifications:
A positive, team-oriented attitude and a commitment to punctuality and reliability.
IT certifications or relevant education are welcomed, provided interpersonal skills are strong.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
