As a primary point of contact for the department, excellent communication skills and customer support are required to provide not only technical solutions but satisfactory training and explanation on all supported systems.Compensation and Benefits$21.95/hour - $27.09/hour | Salary is negotiable dependent upon experience.Benefits include but are not limited to:•Accessible, Diverse, and Inclusive Workforce•Public Service Loan Forgiveness Employer•Health Insurance covered at 80% for employees - plans include family planning benefits•HSA Plan and FSA Plan - both include company contribution!•Competitive Dental and Vision Plans•Health and Well-being initiatives•401(k) Plans with company match and immediate vesting•Company provided Short Term Disability•Basic Life Insurance at no cost to employees•Voluntary Life Insurance with Accidental Death and Disability•4 weeks PTO•11 Paid Holidays•Educational Assistance and Professional Development Opportunities•Optional Hybrid Work Schedule•Voluntary Pet InsuranceMajor Duties and Responsibilities•Provide desktop hardware support to end users including but not limited to PC’s, Mac’s, copiers, printers, mobile phones, VOIP phones, projectors, and AV equipment.•Provide user OS/software support and administration including but not limited to Active Directory, Office365, SharePoint, Microsoft Office, Antivirus, Windows 7/10 and Mac OS.•Imaging and provisioning of laptops, computers, and smart devices to end users.•Supporting IT engineering team patching servers and systems as needed.•Support role administering backup and recovery services as needed. •Communicate with various internal users across functional areas at APH and vendors to provide collaboration, testing and support on new system implementations and deployment.•Maintain accurate written technical documentation and follow established written procedures with minimum supervision.•Develop training materials and classes to educate end users on application use and best practices.•Actively communicating with end users during the time it takes to complete a request. Following up with the end users to ensure service was completed to their expectations.•Other duties as assigned by the Director of IT.Education, Training, and Experience Requirements•Experience in Computer Support or equivalent coursework in technology-related subject matter.•Associate's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.•CompTIA A+ certification is a plus.•Excellent knowledge of Windows OS troubleshooting, Basic Microsoft Active Directory End User Administration, Mac OS, mobile device support (iOS/Android), AV support strategies, remote software tools, and basic networking.•Proficiency with standard hardware, software programs and networking devices.•Experience with administering and supporting telephones (VoIP systems).•Excellent researching and troubleshooting skills.•Ability to interact professionally with all levels of internal and external contacts.•Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.•Must possess good organization skills and attention to detail.•Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.APH is a drug-free workplace.
