We are currently looking to hire a Manager, Quality and Food Safety Sourcing and Design based in Louisville, CO! JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY: This position works within Danone's Quality & Food Safety Department and cross functionally within our Supply Chain Organization. The primary responsibility is to ensure the Quality and Food Safety of Raw and Packaging Materials and Suppliers. This position is part of a team working to make certain that only the safest and highest, most consistent quality materials are used to produce Danone products. This role also drives Supplier ongoing performance, compliance to standards, adherence to specifications and continuous improvement initiatives. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Qualification of new Supplier sites and new Raw and Pack materials Activities associated with the supplier approval process, Supplier documentation reviews, Food Safety validations and approvals, design assessments, etc. With R&I, execute the material approval processes, such as document reviews, item code approvals and specification reviews and approvals. Lead the development of guidelines, standards, and training materials related to QFS specification criteria. With R&I, provide training and direction to Manufacturing plants, and other QFS teams on specification approval processes and QFS standards Act as the QFS lead on cross-functional project teams, representing all QFS departments for sourcing, innovation, renovation, productivity, and other company initiatives Mitigation of risk through application of scientific principles, technical experience and employment of Quality and Food Safety Standards Collaboration with internal functions including Cycles & Procurement, Research & Innovation, Environmental Health and Safety, Sustainability, Regulatory, Food Safety, Project Management, Operations and Commercialization & Industrialization to deliver products to the market that meet Danone's standards. Supplier audits: planning, auditing, report writing, action plan follow-up and continuous improvement activities as needed. Plant operations support related to supply quality Problem solving, Resolution of supplier issues and claims, Follow-up on issues to ensure appropriate corrective actions are complete. Reporting and supplier scorecard management. Opportunities to lead change and improve ways of working. Utilizing Six Sigma, Lean, and/or other continuous improvement concepts to improve quality, efficiency, and waste. Staying current with all key regulatory and certifying agency guidelines and relevant Danone standards. All other duties as assigned. TRAVEL: Estimated at 25%-40% The base compensation range for this position is $70,000 - $105,000 commensurate with experience. About You

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Science/Food Science/Technology or similar major 5+ years of combined experience with food, ingredients, quality and manufacturing Solid understanding of Quality Systems, Food Safety, and Quality Assurance and current Food Regulations. Basic understanding of plant production systems, manufact ring equipment, GMP, SPC, sanitation and EHS. Basic auditing ability and willingness to further your auditing skills. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must be collaborative and have leadership ability Ability to work under deadlines, with multiple priorities Ability to work cross-functionally within organization Must be adaptable and flexible Self-driven, results oriented, able to work independently Ability to work with confidential materials Excellent communication / presentation skills Excellent record keeping / documentation skills Detail oriented. Able to quickly learn new systems, tools, and programs NONESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Trained in SQF or FSSC (GFSI) auditing schemes. Experience managing external suppliers/co-manufacturers Previous experience in Food or Food Packaging Research and Innovation
