Purpose & Responsibilities of Position:
The Facilities Building Maintenance Supervisor (2nd shift) will provide effective leadership and/or management to all assigned resources. Additional duties include assisting the FBM Leadership Team in supporting all daily operations tasks including, but not limited to, resource management (internal/external), understanding and upholding policies and procedures, inventory control, process improvement and updating procedures, guides, and manuals as necessary. The position will also include responsibilities related to data entry, data analysis, and creating spreadsheets, tables, and graphs as necessary to develop methods to track and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics as assigned by FBM Management Team.

The Building Maintenance supervisor is responsible for the day to day maintenance of the facility, makes decisions independently, but within a well-defined area.
Understanding, tracking and managing department KPI’s to develop targets and goals.
Provide a leadership role by providing team members with coaching, mentoring and accountability as required.
Ensure employee adherence and compliance to company policies.
Address complaints and resolve employee related problems independently with the collaboration of department management and Human Resources when required.
Manage and oversee all scheduled work orders to ensure all Preventative Maintenance and Repairs are completed to the highest quality standard.
Schedule, manage and oversee all unscheduled work orders that require external resources.
Manage inventory of all department tools, consumable supplies and critical spare parts to ensure scheduled and unscheduled work does not impact operations.
Perform internal and external Quality Of Execution Audits on a timely basis.
Review and update all departmental SOP’s to ensure overall accuracy.
Work closely with internal department group leads to promote open communication related to building maintenance operations, progress updates and ay issues that may impact their area/s.
Manager may assign other duties as needed.
Familiarity/comfort with Excel, Microsoft word and PowerPoint is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree required with minimum 5 years previous experience in Management/Leadership Role
Previous cGMP and/or Pharmaceutical experience a plus but not required
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Climbing and/or crawling may occur infrequently but highly possible in order to perform maintenance and repair activities.
The estimated pay scale for the Supervisor Building Maintenance (2nd shift role based in Los Angeles, CA, is $90,000 - $110,000/ per year. Additionally, the position is eligible to participate in up to 8% of the company bonus pool. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on education, experience, skillset, knowledge, where the role is performed, internal equity and market data.
