THE ROLE

Insomniac is looking for a Decor Lead, Elevated Experiences for Insomniac Passport. This position will report to the Passport Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the Elevated Experiences Production Designer and Passport Manager to concept and design activations and photo ops, per festival brand guidelines.

  • Ensure decor aligns with the overall theme and brand of each show.

  • Foster a creative and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation.

  • Collaborate with the production team to develop and manage budgets for decor elements.

  • Purchase and track expenses within a given budget.

  • Work alongside the Passport Manager to staff the decor team per show needs.

  • Lead and manage a team of decor staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in event decor management or a related field.

  • Strong design sensibility and a proven ability to translate concepts into visually appealing decor.

  • Experience working with performers and managing costume design is a plus.

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.

  • Creative thinker with a passion for staying updated on design trends.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Mid-level experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments

  • May work in drastic temperature climates

  • Must be willing to frequently travel to work events during holidays, evening, and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines

Hiring Salary Range: $26.00 - $30.00 USD

The expected compensation for this position is:

$24.00 USD - $30.00 USD Hourly

** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
