THE ROLE
Insomniac is looking for a Decor Lead, Elevated Experiences for Insomniac Passport. This position will report to the Passport Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with the Elevated Experiences Production Designer and Passport Manager to concept and design activations and photo ops, per festival brand guidelines.
Ensure decor aligns with the overall theme and brand of each show.
Foster a creative and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation.
Collaborate with the production team to develop and manage budgets for decor elements.
Purchase and track expenses within a given budget.
Work alongside the Passport Manager to staff the decor team per show needs.
Lead and manage a team of decor staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in event decor management or a related field.
Strong design sensibility and a proven ability to translate concepts into visually appealing decor.
Experience working with performers and managing costume design is a plus.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Creative thinker with a passion for staying updated on design trends.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Mid-level experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments
May work in drastic temperature climates
Must be willing to frequently travel to work events during holidays, evening, and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines

Hiring Salary Range: $26.00 - $30.00 USD

The expected compensation for this position is:
$24.00 USD - $30.00 USD Hourly
** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
