Join Weyerhaeuser’s Longview Lumber team and make a difference! Longview’s sawmill has immediate openings for entry level production workers for all shifts. The position pays*$25.735/hour. *

Key Functions, to be performed safely:
- Manually sort and guide pieces of lumber on conveyors.
- Use shovel, broom, and/or equipment to clean up work areas.
- Run machinery that sorts, cuts, trims, or finishes lumber.
Operate a forklift.
Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be available to work any shift, including nights and weekends.
- Must have a solid work history; industrial experience is a plus.
- Must attach a current resume to the application.
Candidate Requirements:
- Wear all safety equipment and obey all safety rules.
- Participate in safety initiatives, including exhibiting safe work practices and helping others work safely.
- Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and maintain good attendance.
- Willing and able to learn new jobs and skills, flow to work while treating all employees with respect.
- Be able to work in dusty and noisy conditions, work from heights, and in confined/restricted areas.
- Be able to lift 2-20 pounds regularly, climb steps and ladders, and stand or work up to 3 hours at a time for up to 8-10 hours.
- Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical. /(This position is designated by WY as a safety-sensitive position. Please be advised that due to the designation, you will be subject to pre-employment testing for cannabis and its metabolites.)/
Compensation:Your wages and benefits are set by the labor agreement between Weyerhaeuser and the union representing employees at this work site. We are targeting a pay range of$25.735/hourbased on your level of skills, qualifications and experience.
