Landscape Laborer. 12 temp/FT positions w/ Shady Tree Lawn & Garden LLC from 4/1/2025 - 12/2/2025.

Landscape/maintain grounds of prop. using hand/power tools/equip. Lay sod/mow/trim/plant/water/fertilize/dig/rake. Must exercise independent judgment; may be asked to demo tasks but doesnt supervise other wrkrs. Must lift/carry 50 lbs when nec. Sat work reqd when nec. Emplyr paid post-hire drug test reqd of foreign/domestic wrkrs upon suspicion of use. Reqs 3 mo. previous landscape exp. Emplyr pays in adv. or reimburses wrkrs in 1st workweek for all govt-mandated/visa-related fees (excl. passport fees). For non-local wrkrs residing outside normal commute distance emplyr reimburses inbound travel costs at 50% point in contract unless paid in adv. Inbound travel incl. transport costs from wrkrs permanent residence or place of recruitment, a daily meal subsistence (based on rates reqd by law, currently $15.88/day min or $59/day max for wrkrs w/ acceptable receipts), & reasonable lodging costs if applicable.

Travel reimbursements based on least-cost common carrier rate. Emplyr provides or pays outbound travel costs upon completion of contract period or early dismissal except where wrkr has subsequent emplymnt. Emplyr guarantees to offer hours equal to at least 3/4 of the workdays in each 6-week period of total contract period beginning w/ wrkrs 1st workday & ending on contract end date or any extension. Emplyr may count all hours worked as well as any hours offered w/in standard work schedule that a wrkr chooses to not work up to the max # of daily hours on job order. Wrkrs who voluntarily abandon emplymnt not entitled to payment for outbound travel costs or full 3/4 period guarantee. Emplyr provides w/out charge all tools/supplies/equipment (incl. uniforms if applicable) necessary to perform duties assigned. If requested emplyr helps non-local wrkrs secure optional wrkr-paid lodging (not to exceed fair market value based on # of occupants; cost TBD). Housing costs paid directly to landlord & not payroll deducted.

JOB LOCATION: 257 Norwood Ave Long Branch, NJ 07740 & multiple worksites w/in Ocean/Monmouth counties. Emplyr provides incidental transport between job sites. No daily transport to/from workers' home and primary worksite. Transport complies w/ Federal, State, & local laws/regs.

WAGE INFORMATION: Wage no less than $21.87/hr. OT hours vary @ $32.81/hr. Raises/bonuses may be offered at emplyr discretion based on individual factors such as performance/skill/tenure. Single workweek used to compute wages due. Payroll period weekly. Wrkrs paid by check Friday. Standard work schedule 7AM-3:30 PM M-F. Emplyr offers 40 hrs pr wk. Emplyr may offer more wk hrs, depend. on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact work hrs. Emplyr makes all payroll deductions required by law. Emplyr does not envision other workforce-wide payroll deductions. Voluntary deductions must be pre-authorized in writing & may include: Emplyr may deduct reasonable cost for lost/damaged tools or equipment due to workr negligence.
