Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Cost Accountant in the a Manufacturing firm, based in Long Beach, California. This role involves collaborating with various teams to understand inventory levels and their impacts on financial performance. You will also serve as the liaison with Operations to continually drive process improvement and accuracy of reports.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate cross-functionally to understand and manage inventory levels
• Analyze the impacts of inventory levels on financial performance
• Serve as the liaison with Operations to drive process improvement
• Troubleshoot with IT on Oracle system related issues that impact inventory, costing, and month-end close
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Solutions to effectively perform accounting functions
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and manage budget processes
• Perform Cost Accounting and Cost Analysis
• Use ADP - Financial Services for efficient financial management
• Manage CapEx effectively
• Ensure accuracy of reports related to inventory and costing.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required
• Must have familiarity with CapEx
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary
• Proficiency in ERP Solutions is needed
• Ability to manage various Accounting Functions
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
• In-depth understanding of Budget Processes
• Experience in Cost Accounting is a must
• Proficiency in Cost Analysis is required.
