Position: " CNC Machinist"
Location: Long Beach, CA. 90813
Hours: 6:00am to 2:30pm
And
2:00pm to 10:30pm
Schedule: Monday through Friday (OT Saturday as needed 7am to 12/noon)
Starting Pay: $23.00 to $28.00/per hour DOE (Depending On Experience)

Minimum Requirements:
Must have 3 years prior Forklift experience.
Must provide a Forklift Certification.
Must have 3 years prior experience in the ability to read, understand work instructions, blueprint, schematics.
Must have 3 years prior experience in Machine Operation or Machine Set up.
Must have 3 years prior experience in tooling, use of calipers, micrometers and/or thread gauges.
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. on occasionally without assistance.
Must be able to lift 1 to 15lbs several times per shift without assistance.
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work well with others.
Summary
CNC Machinists use a variety of CNC lathes and mills and work with graphite manufacturing parts for various industries, including aerospace, by manufacturing procedures as approved by the FAA.
Review blueprints and drawings to determine set-up procedures, machining sequences, and dimensions.
Must be able to set up jobs by loading programs, selecting fixtures, part holders, and tooling machine parts to specifications.
Familiarity with CNC machine controls and their functions (adjusting tool offset, indicating fixtures or parts, changing tools, and following along with the part program).
Monitor tools and attachments to ensure parts are properly cooled and lubricated.
Knowledge of feeds, speeds, and surface finishes related to blueprint requirements.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and geometric tolerances.
Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, dial bores, thread gauges, and basic measuring tools.
Full compliance with client's pre-screening and safety requirements is a pre-employment requirement.

Pay Details: $23.00 to $28.00 per hour
