Job Title: CMM Operator
Job Description
Performs and documents inspections throughout the entire manufacturing operation including, but not limited to, 1st piece, in-process, final inspections, first article inspections and PPAP. Performs internal gauge inspections and calibrations. Performs incoming inspections for goods and services purchased from suppliers.
Responsibilities
Perform all stages of inspection: Incoming, First Piece, In-Process, Final, and First Article Inspections (FAI).
Produce detailed inspection reports as required.
Follow all documented procedures and policies.
Review job orders to ensure parts are processed and inspected according to the control plan.
Verify that operators completed the required inspections and signed the appropriate documentation.
Essential Skills
Ability to program and operate a CMM with PC-DMIS.
Ability to read and interpret customer/shop drawings, geometric tolerances, customer/industry specifications, and inspection documentation.
Proficiency in using a variety of mechanical inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
Strong attention to detail to ensure that products meet required specifications.
Strong mathematical and computer skills.
Ability to interact and communicate verbally and in written form with employees across all levels as well as customers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- CMM experience.

Work Environment
Manufacturing environment. The plant has about 50 total employees inclusive of office/design and engineering. The plant is separated into two areas: small assembly/receiving and then machining and shipping. Small assembly is all seated workstations and very quiet throughout the day with limited foot traffic. The machine side of the shop is more active with larger machines.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Londonderry, New Hampshire.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
