Your day at NTT DATA
NTT DATA drives a traditional Professional and Support Services business across UKI which combined represents approximately 50% of the overall revenue number.
The current Senior Services Sales Manager scope includes NTT DATA Software Defined Infrastructure Services (SDIS), Additional Services, Professional Services and Vendor Branded Resell (VBR).
Our main focuses in Senior Services Sales Manager are: growth (land), adopt and expand (installed base), increase GP and increase client satisfaction (reduce churn). The expand and renew activities are part of the Services Sales Director remit.
This is to be done in various ways :
• driving standard methodologies, tools, collateral, and behaviours with the individual Sales and Specialists communities in UKI.
• Strategies and actions to be defined and implemented for the non-CSM managed accounts where part of these activities have to be performed by Client Partners, SDM’s, ...
Our main focuses in Professional Services are: growth (land), and expand (installed base), increase GP and increase client satisfaction (reduce churn).
This is to be done in various ways :
• Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed services sales targets.
• Client Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with prospective and existing customers, as well as partners, to align our services offerings with their business / customer challenges.
• Solution Selling: Collaborate with internal teams and partners to craft tailored service solutions, including implementation, integration, training, and support packages.
• Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely reporting of sales activity and results.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and delivery teams to align service offerings with client needs and ensure successful delivery.
• Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for growth.
These activities will be closely linked to our Software activities, meaning a close collaboration between Software, Support Services and Professional Services.
The Senior Services Sales Manager will achieve this by leading & influencing the Specialists, Client Partners, SDM’s and Sales communities in UKI and support the European and Global client engagement teams, EU and Group TIS GTM Leaders & Support Services Leads to develop the sales strategy to drive client value and maintain growth & retention opportunities within our clients.
You will support the in-country team of Lifecycle Specialists to identify target clients for expansion and adoption and provide the required data points, tools and collateral they need to be successful in driving net new growth and in account expand as well as technology adoption for our clients thus maximizing the vendor rebates available to NTT DATA.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Senior Services Sales Manager
Revenue & forecasting
Accountable for the achievement of NTT DATA UKI revenue targets through:
In-contract growth by up-sell / cross-sell of NTT DATA services within the Client base
Adoption of NTT DATA services especially SDI Services to ensure the client reaches the point of value in the shortest amount of time
Renewal pipeline management/forecasting (e.g. status of top renewals in the month/quarter)
Net New business - building pipeline through joint account planning and other strategic engagements with for example our key partners such as Cisco, PANW, Fortinet, F5, Checkpoint and others.
Leadership
Lead & influence the UKI existing communities of Presales, Lifecyle Specialists, SDMs and Sales Community in delivering NTT Data UKI strategic SDI Services objectives.
Mentor, coach and manage the performance and professional development of the team
Continuously upskill and improve the capability of the Lifecyle Specialists, SDMs and Sales Community in line with Technology Solutions strategy
Clients
Accountable that client contract strategies are developed in countries, which are aligned to the overall Support Services as well as END to END Lifecyle strategy and objectives, ensuring these are developed and executed in a consistent manner
Work closely with Sales and other client-facing stakeholders to ensure consistent and effective client engagements
Remain constantly informed of major service delivery or relationship issues affecting key clients, intervening in the client engagement activities as required
Develop and maintain relationships with key strategic clients to promote the value of NTT Data UKI Support Services & Adoption Lifecyle Services, Professional Services offer and enhance understanding of clients’ strategic needs.
Global Technology Solution Practice
Maintain an understanding of the EU and Group Technology Solutions strategy and oversee resulting country delivery programs
Ensure alignment to the EU and Group Technology Solutions operating model and strategy across the regional Technology Solutions community.
Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional NTT DATA stakeholders to promote/evangelise the Technology Solutions agenda
Requires expertise across the full Professional Services and Support Services Lifecycle and Software understanding:
At least 5 years’ experience in sales and/or business development within a large scale (preferably multi-national) technology services environment across a range of services including support
Understanding of support services market, market dynamics, trends, vendor (OEM), reseller, distributor relation and high-level competitive landscape
Understanding of the LAER model and the roles played throughout the lifecycle
Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain solid stakeholder relationships and collaborate with key client facing teams
Demonstrates leadership skills and drives standards of performance
Strategic thinking ability coupled with strong planning and execution skills
Assertive in approach coupled with confidence in area of expertise and the ability to facilitate business conversations
Ability to interpret complex data/reports, derive business insights and define relevant operating responses
Sufficient knowledge and understanding of IT service environment, service operations and ITIL practices
You have an educational background in IT, business administration or information management focused on product management and/or business development.
Experience in product and business development in technology and services domains, including client facing responsibilities.
You are familiar with consulting led approaches, methodology and practice.
Strong communication, presentations and planning skills are key.
Experience in project management and/or marketing will be an asset.
You are fluent in written and spoken English and have hold positions in which you have demonstrated your ability to engage with a wide range of functional and geographical organizations, including multicultural management
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
Tertiary level qualification such as a business management or equivalent degree
Certification and/or working knowledge of ITIL practice
