As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you play a pivotal role in designing, developing and maintaining the critical cloud infrastructure that powers our services. Our UK Cyber & Intelligence business combines modern software development approaches with a rich heritage and experience in the Defence and security sectors. Our customers have complex and sensitive data and information requirements requiring a mission partner who quickly understands the context, delivering and sustaining a portfolio of challenging technology projects at scale and pace, supporting them through an ambitious digital transformation programme.

Responsibilities:
Design & develop robust and scalable cloud solutions following AWS best practices for efficiency and security.
Get involved in the entire development lifecycle from requirements gathering to design, implementation, test and deployment.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including software development and product management.
Mentor and guide junior developers contributing to the overall team's growth.

We are looking for:
2+ years as a Cloud Engineer with a strong focus on cloud based development in AWS (Azure and/or GCP is a plus).
Proven experience in designing, developing & deploying scalable cloud solutions.
Familiarity with core Infrastructure technologies on AWS as well as some common third party solutions (AWS CDK, Cloud Formation, Lambda, Docker, Terraform).
Excellent communication, collaboration & problem solving skills, ideally with some experience in agile ways of working.
Security clearance:
Due to the nature of our projects, you must be British for this clearance type.
