What Is the Opportunity?

Are you an experienced Marketing Manager eager to manage comprehensive end-to-end marketing campaigns? Join our team and lead the charge in crafting impactful marketing strategies!

In conjunction with the Europe Marketing department and key stakeholders, this role identifies marketing strategies and creates and executes integrated marketing programs in support of strategies aligned to specific Business Unit (BU) (e.g., Europe Bond & Specialty, Travelers Syndicate Management or Europe Business Insurance) needs. Role supports functional specific marketing topics Europe-wide, as assigned by the Head of Marketing: for example brand, web, email, social, data, content etc. This role is under moderate supervision and does not manage others.

Travelers Europe currently offers flexibility to employees who wish to work on a hybrid basis in accordance with our Hybrid Work Arrangements Policy. This entails full time employees working three days a week in the office and two days at home (or pro rata for part-time employees). This policy may be changed at the Company’s discretion.

This role is eligible for a new joiner referral bonus. If you are successfully referred by an employee at Travelers Europe, both you and the person who referred you could be eligible for this bonus.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Campaign execution & management.

  • Brand: builds clear positioning and connection with the Travelers brand in the market.

  • Create, plan and manage components of integrated market campaigns in support of business needs.

  • Completes marketing related requests, tasks and activities based on business objectives.

  • Develops content, writes, edits and shepherds material through the review/approval process.

  • Executes marketing tactics such as paid media, email, webinars, newsletters, sales aids, brochures, video, social and web.

  • Monitors the effectiveness of campaigns by tracking results for campaign ROI analysis/reporting.

  • Has knowledge of how each marketing campaign/program ties back to marketing and business strategies.

  • Reviews data on business and consumer insights related to inform marketing strategies.

  • Responsible for the ongoing maintenance/refresh of marketing program/campaign content and tactics.

  • Supports events by executing marketing components.

  • Has knowledge of established marketing processes, approvals and best practices

  • Works closely with manager, marketing partners and BU business partners to understand BU priorities and objectives.

  • Manages small to mid-sized projects and/or campaigns.

  • May help train and serve as a resource to more junior marketing staff.

  • As an employee you are expected to act in an ethical manner at all times. You will ensure you understand all compliance and regulatory requirements for your role by completing all necessary training and certifications.

  • As an employee we expect your actions and outcomes will at all times meet local regulatory and supervisory approaches to ensure fair treatment of our customers. You will ensure you keep adequate records of all transactions undertaken with customers, brokers and all other parties.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in marketing or other related field or equivalent marketing experience required.

  • Experienced in supporting the management of integrated campaigns.

Education, Work Experience, & Knowledge

  • In depth knowledge and experience of end-to-end campaign management.

  • In depth knowledge of all marketing channels esp. email, paid media and web

  • Working knowledge of content writing and editing

  • Working knowledge of marketing planning and strategy principles.

  • General knowledge of multi functional areas such as research, marketing analytics, competitive analysis, communications, brand management, website management.

  • General knowledge of financial services &/or insurance or related field preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills

  • Intermediate project management and organisational skills

  • Basic consulting skills

  • Basic analytical and strategic thinking skills
