We are a cash cropping/dairy company where we grow corn, wheat, oats, sorghum, soybeans and canning\ peas. We are looking to hire people for preparing and harvesting the crops and maintaining the equipment to\ do the crop work. The employees we hire must have experience. Our cropping year ends in winter and starts\ back up in early spring. Job duties will include: prepare fields for planting, attach farm implements such as\ plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools, operate tractors, manure\ spreaders, operate other farm equipment, load and unload crops or materials, manually or using conveyors,\ hand trucks, forklifts, or transfer augers, load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with\ products, using forklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks, mix specified materials or\ chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into machinery, observe and listen to machinery operation\ to detect equipment malfunctions, position boxes or attach bags at discharge ends of machinery to catch\ products, removing and closing full containers, attach equipment extensions or accessories, load crops and\ unload crops, drive pickup trucks to haul crops, supplies, and tools, inspect, adjust, and complete routine\ maintenance and repairs on equipment. Employees will also need to picking stones in fields, cleaning\ workshop inside and outside, clean equipment, and complete maintenance of all buildings on site. Employer\ may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employers discretion. Employer\ may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employers discretion.
