Role Purpose: GKN Automotive is actively seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Business Analyst with expertise in Planning and Forecasting processes. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our transformation journey moving from multiple ERP platforms and connected systems to a single SAP S/4HANA ERP system in all GKN Automotive plants.
Accountable as key decision maker on the process designs within the Planning (IBP). Ensures that business requirements are met while supporting the overall objectives of the programme and adhering to SAP best practices. Actively champions the standardisation and simplification of processes across the GKN organisation.
Key Responsibilities
SAP S/4HANA Implementation: – Facilitate workshops to provide the overall Planning Processes requirements that includes Demand Management, Inventory planning, Response and Supply planning, Sales and Operations Planning requirements for the accurate solution design.
Process Optimization: – Analyse and optimize end-to-end Planning and Forecasting processes, leveraging SAP S/4HANA IBP functionalities for maximum efficiency. Collaborate closely with Supply Chain/Manufacturing Engineering stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into integrated SAP S/4HANA IBP solutions. Advise Planning business stakeholders and actively promote industry best practices.
Requirements Gathering and Documentation: – Elicit, document, and manage business requirements. Ensure all the aspects of the business processes are mentioned in the documentation to enable the right solution design.
SAP S/4Hana IBP Integration: – Lead efforts to integrate SAP S/4HANA IBP solutions seamlessly, ensuring data consistency and optimal end-to-end Planning and Forecasting operations.
Integration with other modules – Analyse and optimise the Planning process integration with other functions such as Sales and Distribution, Supply chain management, Material Management, Production Planning.
Testing and Quality Assurance: – Ensure the quality and integrity of Planning and Forecasting-related SAP S/4HANA IBP solutions through thorough testing and validation. Supporting the Testing process and communicating the defects/issues to the implementation team for the resolution.
Training Support: Support the training material preparation, review, and approval.Act as a key point of contact for Supply Chain-Mfg. Engineering related SAP S/4HANA IBP inquiries, delivering timely support and resolution.
Change Management: – Support change management initiatives. Facilitate communication and training to ensure a smooth transition to new SAP S/4HANA IBP solutions.
Planning and Forecasting Reporting and Analytics: – Utilize SAP S/4HANA IBP Planning and Forecasting analytics tools to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
To be successful in this position, you will have:
10+ years of demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on Planning processes with SAP S/4HANA IBP Planning and Forecasting modules.
Proven experience in designing the functional solution for SAP S/4HANA Planning Master Data, Demand Management, Supply Network planning, Inventory Planning and Sales and Operations planning.
Technical background and ability to translate the functional requirements to the technical requirements.
Ability to understand impact of issue on business and identify suitable solutions.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills within the Planning and Forecasting domain.
Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to engage Planning and Forecasting stakeholders.
Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision.
Experience of working in the Automotive Industry is a plus.
SAP S/4HANA IBP certifications in Planning and Forecasting are a plus.
Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level
Language Skills: Good English language – both verbal and written
