Position: Process Engineer, II
On-Site Position: North Logan, UT
At Spartronics, the Process Engineer designs and develop production plans and processes. Identify areas of process improvement. Provide process support for internal Spartronics customers.
What a Day Looks Like:
- Monitor process improvement data including flow, efficiency, and layout
- Perform equipment maintenance and calibration
- Conduct studies to improve equipment efficiency regarding quality, availability, and throughput
Provide process support and training for manufacturing personnel.
Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 3 -- 5 years related work experience
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Working knowledge of engineering practices/procedures regarding electronic components and manufacturing
- Utilize experience/judgment to develop solutions for moderately complex engineering issues
- Intermediate level failure analysis and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Work independently and in a team environment
- Moderate level computer skills including Microsoft Office and CAD
- Working knowledge of manufacturing principles including Six Sigma and Lean
- Good conflict resolution
- Prioritize and multitask
Physical Requirements Typical office environment with occasional exposure to light manufacturing environmen t.
