Job Duties
Operates mixers, scales, and mixer related systems.
Operates mixer control timers.
Prepares and labels premixes.
Check premixes to ensure the correct premix formula and weight.
Prepares and adds various, manually scaled, non-premix ingredients at mixer.
Controls temperature and consistency of the dough.
Performs equipment and GMP inspections prior to equipment operation.
Fill out required inspection forms, mix sheets and other production documentation as required.
Assists moving dough troughs to and from depositing area.
Performs other job duties as assigned.
Skills/Experience:
High school graduate or equivalent (GED)
Food manufacturing experience (1 to 2 yrs.)
Strong math skills because of the food batches needing accuracy
Speak, read, and write English (Spanish is a Plus)
Follow recipe instructions and procedures
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to document and measure results
Able to wear PPE: Safety helmet, glasses, smock, gloves, and steel toes
Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM
Some overtime may be required.
