Job Description

• Coordinate and perform metallurgical sample preparation and materials testing of

battery components and other related components as needed.

• Follow all procedures for testing and analysis.

• Ensure equipment used is functioning properly and is current with all calibration /

certification requirements.

• Ensure accuracy/completeness of standard forms and templates for review and

archival purposes.

• Participate in internal meetings as required to resolve issues with analytical testing,

coordination, and support.

• Track the progress of analytical testing, maintenance of data, and communication to

Metallurgical Laboratory.

• Communicate issues that arise for resolution

Skills and Requirements

* 2+ years of working experience in a lab doing Metallurgical Testing/some background in Metallurgy or analysis OR has a Materials Science working background

* Technical Amplitude with willingness to learn (will be on their own much of the time in this role)

* Hands on experience working in a lab doing Metallurgy or Materials

* Experience in technical reporting

* Worked in lab in manufacturing environment null
