About the role

  • Our Order-to-Cash Transformation (OtC) team, composed of 3 people, is part of Solvay Group Transformation Office and GBS Leadership Teams. This team is driving the transformation of our Order-to-Cash function in collaboration with Senior Leaders across Solvay Business Units around 3 pillars: digitalization, process optimization and standardization, and finally organizational change.

  • As a Project and Knowledge Management Trainee, you will work on analyzing and improving business processes within the OtC domain, creating engaging training materials, ensuring knowledge is easily accessible to the team, and gaining in-depth knowledge on the OtC process to support our Global Business Units (GBUs). You will get the opportunity to contribute to a major business transformation initiative in an international environment and interact with teams across Europe, Americas and Asia and have a positive impact on Solvay business processes.

  • You will be accountable for:

  • Process Documentation & Optimization - Document processes and collaborate with different stakeholders; Develop and maintain process documentation in innovative formats (e.g. video tutorials).

  • Data Analysis - Analyze performance data related to OtC; Support the development of reports and presentations.

  • Knowledge Management - Assist in the creation of training materials; Organize and curate information.

  • Project Management Support - Provide support to project managers in planning, tracking, and executing tasks related to the OtC transformation.

  • We offer an Internship (12 months) contract based on hybrid working mode.

About you

  • Relevant education degree or equivalent in Business Administration or Communication.

  • Relevant experience in Project Management is a plus.

  • Competencies:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. French would be a plus.

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).

  • Comfortable with digital tools and technologies.

  • A keen interest in process improvement and knowledge management.

  • Video editing or multimedia creation skills (a plus).

  • Behaviors:

About the pay and benefits

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. Portugal's base pay range for this role is 940 EUR up to 1040 EUR a month, based on your academic background.
