About the role
Our Accounts Receivables team, composed of 8 people, is integrated in the Credit Management Service Line and focuses on customer accounts reconciliation in collaboration with Cash Collections, Credit Analysis, Customer Service and Commercial team.
Our Accounts Payable Payments team, composed of 11 people, is integrated in the Procurement department and focuses on paying invoices and reconciling accounts in collaboration with all the other Procurement teams.
Our Treasury Operations team, composed of 8 people, is integrated in the Finance department, and focuses on treasury operations related activities such as bank account reconciliations, deal confirmation and settlements in the EMEA region and In-House-Bank, and also monitoring and reporting of the bank fees, in collaboration with other Service Units.
As a Cash Management & Third Party Trainee, you will work on Cash allocation, Customers accounts reconciliation and other Accounts Receivables services to support the process. You will get the opportunity to contribute to the Team’s objectives and have a positive impact on the Service Line results.
You will be accountable for:
Detecting, documenting and following customer issues preventing cash allocation on time.
Managing unmatched payments and residual amounts to ensure customers account reconciliation.
Process payment runs and reconcile intermediary accounts
Performing Accounts Receivables tasks from cash allocation to management of doubtful customers on a timely basis and according to defined procedures, respecting quality and compliance
Check FX exposure & counterparty risks in the respect of the limits set by Risk Management
This is a 1 year rotational internship with the duration of 4 months in each team
We offer a 12 months Internship contract based on hybrid working mode
About you
Relevant education degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting
Competencies:
Fluency in English, other languages are considered a plus
Advanced Excel knowledge is a plus
Flexibility in working hours: typical Treasury day starts from 7am/8am until 4/5pm
Understanding of banking systems and international business, involving multi-currency transactions. Familiarity with the requirements and complexities of global payments transactions (of which Swift, banking tools…)
