This is a position for an (Optometrist (Harbor Eye Associates) located in* Lindenhurst.*
Summary: Eye Value is a well-known optometry practice that has been serving the Long Island community since 1985. The practice is renowned for offering a wide range of visual solutions and specializes in pre- and post-operative care, contact lenses, specialty services, and medical optometry. Eye Value caters to a diverse range of visual needs, ensuring that each patient receives the highest quality of care. The practice uses cutting-edge technology and expertise to guarantee the best possible outcomes for each individual. Eye Value employs six dynamic professionals, including excellent bilingual support staff and two opticians. The practice has goals to continue improving and adding new technology to contribute to the practice's growth.
Duties and Responsibilities: As an Optometrist in this flourishing practice, you can look forward to fulfilling and dynamic work, caring for all types of patients as each day brings something new. On a typical day, you'll perform exams for around 16 to 18 patients per day, focusing on full-scope optometry, including medical optometry and specialty contact fittings. With access to technology such as Optos Daytona, and NCT, you'll confidently conduct comprehensive eye tests, ensuring precise diagnoses and tailored solutions. Working closely with a team of talented professionals, you'll collaborate seamlessly to create a seamless and compassionate experience for each patient. The position offers flexible employment hours, ranging from 16 to 40 hours per week.
Job Specifications or Qualifications
: At-least 2 years of experience is preferred. Medical optometry experience including dry eye, pediatric and geriatric eyecare is preferred.
