Insight Global DevOps Engineer in Lincolnshire, Illinois

Job Description

Sitting down with Management initially to map out the strategy -- they will be hands on building out the automation within the team, delivery of automation, being able to assess monitoring and make improvements. Building the bridges they need in order to fasciliate expedient changes into production and automation.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years within IT

Senior resource if possible -- they aren't building the strategy, but they will be implementing it. 30% of their time will be spent training/knowledge transfer

Release Engineer w/ DevOps in SAFe framework

Development Skills -- GIT, Jenkins, standard DevOps tools

JIRA

Scripting -- Java Scripting/Linux Scripting for automation work

Cloud technology -- prefers AWS

Monitoring experience -- preferably datadog

On call shift -- evenings (6 pm-8 am for anything emergency type of changes Priority 1) once a month. null
