Job Title: Field Service Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team. This role requires extended working hours and significant travel across the United States, and potentially internationally. You will provide real-time technical support, including mechanical, electrical, and programming assistance, and resolve customer issues while maintaining the company's financial and resource balance. You will also assist with parts returns, liaise with vendors and suppliers, and coordinate shipments of needed parts to customers. Training and educating customers in the use of our products is a crucial part of the role. You will also contribute to the Quality Assurance process, documenting communications and incidents with our CRM/ERP/Inventory software. When on-site, you will complete the Installation parts list to ensure arrival with needed support equipment and tools and serve as the company liaison. You will also assist with writing troubleshooting and maintenance bulletins for equipment manuals as time permits. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and product quality outcomes. You will actively support and enforce plant safety processes and practices, support Continuous Improvement initiatives, and contribute to the success of the business and team by accomplishing individual accountabilities and results.

Work Environment

This role is equally divided between on-site work with clients, installing brewing equipment, and in-shop work, assisting with troubleshooting via phone or email. You will be traveling for 25-32 weeks per year, often during the week, with weekends at home. When not traveling, you will be answering phones and emails in the shop. You will be trained in a team of 2 for 3-6 months before operating independently. Your pay will be reflective of your work, with every hour on the clock paid for, including travel time.
