Job Title: Automation Technician

Job Description

As an Automation Technician, you will design and develop efficient and reliable Robotics Systems that meet project requirements and specifications. You will support system installation, start-up, debug, commissioning, and provide extended service at client sites. Responsibilities also include creating training and system documentation, leading training sessions to educate clients on proper use and maintenance of systems, and serving as a technical resource to various internal groups.

Hard Skills

  • FANUC Robotics Systems

  • Preventive maintenance on FANUC Mechanical Units, Controllers, and peripherals

Soft Skills

  • Ability to educate and lead training sessions

  • Remote troubleshooting

  • Effective communication

Work Environment

Travel constitutes 50-70% of the job, primarily to client sites involved in packaging and conveyance. Trips typically run Monday - Friday but may extend over weekends depending on project needs. When not traveling, you will work in a climate-controlled, clean warehouse with large automation robots. Day hours vary per client needs, with the shop generally open from 7:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday. Team size for this position includes 3 other technicians. Dress code includes company-provided polo, jeans, and closed-toed shoes.
