Powell Company Delivery Driver in Lima, Ohio
The Powell Company has immediate openings for full-time drivers. Drivers are home evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Complete pre-trip inspections prior to driving each day
- Be aware of road, traffic, and weather conditions, and adjust your driving accordingly
- Keep the truck clean and in proper working condition at all times, and report any service concerns immediately
- Always be helpful and courteous to all customers and employees
- Load, unload, and route trucks
- Complete post-trip inspection at the close of each day
- Drive delivery truck on route as needed
- Assist in putting away new product as needed
- Clean and organize dock and warehouse areas
- All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Must have valid driver's license in good standing (A, B, or D)
- Must be able to pass DOT physical
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have excellent attendance record
- Must be able to work with little supervision
- High School Diploma or GED
- Good reading, math, and writing skills
- Prior driving experience
- Ability to present a positive image to our customers as a company representative
- Must be able to handle all freight
