Actalent Controls Engineer in Lexington, South Carolina
Description:
The person in this role will be responsible for completing the Electrical portion of large capital projects in support of the Plant Capital execution as well as overall preparation and coordination of the Engineering deliverables for the project. • Provide detailed automation programming for assigned projects. • Provide estimates and technical schedules for all phases of process equipment addition, replacement, or upgrade. • Participate in assigned major capital projects and/or modifications from start to finish, including equipment reception, commissioning, and acceptance. • Experience with Rockwell PLC programming standards & programming software, including GRAFCET, Ladder Logic, and Structured Text. • Experience with HMI PanelView Knowledge of FactoryTalkView ME Studio would be very helpful. • Vision System configuration and interface for width measurement applications and defect detection applications is preferred, but not required. Specific experience with Cognex, Keyence, Adept, Bytewise, Gocator is a plus. • Robotic experience, configuration or knowledge is preferred, but not required. Specific experience with Fanuc, ABB is a plus.

Focusing on PLC programming ability. Candidate will need to understand design schematics but really looking for someone who can hit the ground running with Allen Bradley plc programming.
