We are currently seeking a Part-time Senior Program Analyst to support our Patuxent River, MD customer. The Senior Program Analyst will primarily support the Procurement Group leadership team.

Functional Description:

Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of contracts documents, program/project objectives and other contract policy guidance. Performs technical analyses, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to NAVAIR acquisition programs. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation policy and guidance.

The Program Analyst shall assist with the development and assembly of acquisition / contractual strategies tasks will include drafting and compiling data to support external data calls.

Duties:

· Communication and Coordination

· Procurement Group Leadership team and its supporting departments/divisions.

· Stakeholder Interaction and Coordination

· Data Call / Request for Information (RFI) / Questions for the Record (QFR)

· Internal PEO data calls

· External data calls (Congressional, Senate, etc.)

· Metrics; Collecting, Reporting, Analysis, Trends

· Strategic and Tactical Planning

· Process improvement of business processes

· Development of internal processes

· Maintain awareness of future procurement need dates in compliance approved acquisition strategy

· Support procurement planning research for team leads

· Support tasker and drills related to procurement matters

Required Education:

  • BS or BA degree. Allowable substitution: a AA degree and an additional thirteen (13) years of experience.

    Required Experience :

  • Over ten (10) years of experience of DoD contracting, must have held a warrant as a Navy contracting officer.

    Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
