Lockheed Martin Engineering Technician - Level 3 in Lexington Park, Maryland
Description: What You Will Be Doing:
This position supports avionics research, development, prototype, production, test, and maintenance activities at the Patuxent Engineering Facility (PEF). This position is an electrical/electronic technician in the wire/solder shop. Primary tasks are fabrication of circuit cards electrical cables, harnesses, and assembly of avionics components including radios, interface units, and control panels. Duties include reading and interpreting engineering drawings, including schematics, assembly drawings, interconnect drawings, and wire lists as needed to manufacture and assemble components in accordance with drawing requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of five (3) years electronic technician experience.
• Experience with soldering surface mount (SMT) and through hole components on circuit card assemblies. Experience with de-soldering and or repairing circuit card assemblies.
• Experience with reading and interpreting engineering drawings to include assembly drawings, schematic diagrams, interconnect drawings, and wire lists.
• Experience with fabricating and assembling circuit cards, harnesses, assemblies, and avionics racks and components.
• Experience troubleshooting to component level.
Desired Skills:
• Familiarity with Shop travelers and production procedures and processes.
• Seven (3) years electronic technician experience.
• IPC / J-STD-001 Solder Certified
• Experience working with Quality Control inspectors and Quality Assurance personnel.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
The base range for this position in Maryland?is $26.54 –$ 34.62.
