ManpowerGroup Electrical Controls Engineer in Lexington, North Carolina
Our client, a leader in finishing machinery for the global textile industry, is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to join their team. As an Electrical Controls Engineer, you will be part of the product development team supporting various innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Electrical Controls Engineer
Location: Lexington, North Carolina
Pay Range: $85,000 - $95,000
What's the Job?
Research, design, develop, and document world-class Textile Finishing Equipment.
Plan and schedule control systems development for new and existing machines.
Create and customize control system designs and lead proof-of-technology tests.
Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel assembly layout drawings.
Assist with machine installation, commissioning, and provide remote support to customers.
What's Needed?
A degree in Engineering (electrical discipline) or equivalent experience.
Minimum of four years working in industrial controls and automation.
Experience in PLC architecture and programming, particularly Siemens Step 7/TIA Portal.
Knowledge of VFDs and servo controllers implementation and programming.
Proficient in AutoCAD software and Microsoft Office applications.
