Job Description:
Our client is looking for an Associate Analytical Scientist to join the Manufacturing Sciences - Analytical group. The Associate Analytical Scientist will provide analytical support to manufacturing sciences upstream and downstream. The Associate Analytical Scientist will work in collaboration with cross-functional teams for assay transfers, troubleshooting, and establishing assays.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Offer analytical assistance to both upstream and downstream manufacturing science labs.
Collaborate with matrix teams for smooth assay transfer and effective troubleshooting.
Execute analytical assays for in-process samples within a non-GMP environment.
Maintain electronic lab notebooks and ensure timely data reporting.
Prepare documents and reports to effectively communicate findings during meetings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in various analytical techniques pertinent to biologic characterization.
Bonus points for experience in method transfer, qualification, and validation.
Desirable experience includes working with monoclonal antibodies and/or protein therapeutics in mammalian cell line bioprocessing environments.
Familiarity with analytical assays like SEC, SDS-PAGE, CE-SDS, ELISA, titer, etc., is preferred.
