Job Title: Control Panel Technician
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Control Panel Technician, where you will be responsible for assembling electrical enclosures used in diverse industries such as hydrocarbon and chemical measurement and control, as well as power and water applications. This role involves mounting electronic control hardware, terminating input and output signals to termination blocks, and ensuring all components meet our strict standards and practices. You will be working in a non-climate controlled area, with adjustments made during summer for comfort, and the option to sit or stand as needed.
Hard Skills
Ability to use hand tools (screwdrivers, wire strippers/cutters, hand wrenches, hand saws)
Ability to use small power tools (hand drills, sabre saws)
Panel building
Reading schematics and cabling
Physical layout and wiring of electrical control equipment
General PC skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Soft Skills
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stoop and reach into metal enclosures
Hand and finger dexterity
Ability to handle and determine multiple wires and wire color combinations
Ability to follow directions and follow schematics
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Lewisville, Texas.
Work Environment
You will work at a workstation requiring reaching, bending, and crouching. The work area is non-climate controlled with an 8 am-5 pm schedule. The Valve department is climate controlled. Overtime may require a shift from 6 am to 5 pm.
