Covenant Health Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – Inpatient Behavioral Health in Lewiston, Maine
St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center seeks a dedicated PMHNP to provide compassionate psychiatric services on our inpatient behavioral health units.
Responsibilities:
Conduct rounding on inpatient behavioral health units
Provide direct patient care for psychiatric disorders
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans
Participate in call coverage for inpatient units
Requirements:
Graduation from a state-certified advanced practice program in psychiatry/mental health
PMHNP certification
Unrestricted DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
State-issued Controlled Substance Registration (CSR)
Registration with the state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP)
No suspension/exclusion from federal healthcare programs (Medicare, Medicaid, SCHIP)
Preferred: 2 years of direct psychiatric patient care experience
