Job Description - Work closely with Tanglewood Music Center Stage Management to ensure safe and efficient technical and production operations - Assist in all aspects of stage management and production, including run-of-show operations - Support the work of musicians, lighting designers, audio engineers, and video engineers - Work closely with Tanglewood Facilities team members and Stage Crew to maintain buildings and ensure smooth and safe operations - Occasionally drive vehicles to transport instruments/equipment - Required Education and Experience Knowledge of orchestral stage and special event set-ups, concert and theatrical lighting, video projection, and sound - Ability to work independently and with limited supervision - Patience, good humor, flexibility and sensitivity to the pressures experienced by performers and presenters; a team player - Ability to work long hours and perform strenuous physical work To prevent the infection and spread of COVID-19, and as an integral part of its public health and safety measures, Boston Symphony Orchestra requires that all successful applicants show proof of full vaccination by an FDA-approved (either fully or for emergency use) COVID-19 vaccine before beginning employment.
