Job Description
A day in the Life
Are you a Laboratory Specialist with expertise in Bio-/ Chemical Quality Control? Join Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. and play a crucial role in impacting global health and safety.
Support the establishment of an operational Bio-/ Chemical Quality Control (BCQC) unit within Thermo Fisher, Lengnau site.
Aid in the transfer, development, and validation of analytical methods, ensuring the qualification of necessary equipment.
Participate in the maintenance, calibration, and use of laboratory equipment to maintain outstanding standards.
Conduct testing of final and intermediate products, in-process samples, raw materials, samples from cleaning validation, utilities, and environmental monitoring samples.
Engage in the training and qualification of new employees, promoting a culture of inclusion and collaboration.
Build and update guidance documents such as SOPs/WIs and other related documents to establish standard methodologies.
Support the QC Support team during the project phase in the ordering of materials and inventory management of the QC laboratories.
Education
Diploma as Laboratory technician – chemical, biochemical, pharmaceutical, or similar direction or similar education.
Experience & Skills
Experience:
- 3 years of experience in chemical or biochemical laboratories, including proven experience in a regulated GMP environment.

Additional Requirements
German as working language
