Information Technology (IT) Substitute Instructor
Location: Lehi, UT
Status: Part-time
Hours: As needed. Classes run Tuesday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and Monday - Thursday 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Pay / Hourly: $29.14
SUMMARY
As the Information Technology Substitute Instructor, you will provide classroom instruction and supervision to students when the regular instructor is absent. You will instruct students on how to apply classroom theory to computer hardware and software, mobile devices, operating systems, networking, security, cloud technology and other technologies relevant to the industry. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) SUB INSTRUCTOR - RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide effective instruction and facilitate student learning for the program
Review and implement lesson plans
Engage students for the entirety of the scheduled class
Give clear instructions and help students understand the lesson
Maintain discipline and control of the classroom
Record student attendance
Foster a safe and nurturing learning atmosphere
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) SUB INSTRUCTOR - QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be knowledgeable in course content
Degree in related field OR minimum two years of relevant work experience.
Current industry credentials and licensing
The following certifications are preferred: CompTIA A+; CompTIA Network+
