If so, we want to hear from you! We're seeking a Health & Safety Manager to join our team in Lee's Summit, MO. In this role, you'll play a vital role in driving our safety culture and ensuring a healthy workplace for our employees.
What You'll Do:
Be the champion for health & safety (H&S) at our Lee's Summit location.
Manage all H&S activities, including strategies, policies, processes, and compliance.
Lead the development and implementation of H&S programs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Partner with supervisors and managers on site investigations, recommending and overseeing corrective actions.
Represent the company during H&S inspections, communicating findings and solutions.
Collaborate with our global team on best practices and industry trends.
What You'll Bring:
A related bachelor's degree (preferred).
OHS, EHS, or QMS certification in management or a Diploma (required; obtainable within first year).
Understanding of OSHA regulations and environmental standards.
3+ years of experience leading a safety department in manufacturing (preferred).
Experience with the plastic injection industry is a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
Decisive and quick thinking with a problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities
Manage all activities related to health and safety strategies, policies, processes, changes, and regulations.
Lead the implementation of health and safety strategies, identifying possible avenues for continuous improvement through health and safety awareness campaigns.
Oversee site investigations along with supervisors and managers; make recommendations on actions to be taken and follow up on action plans to resolve incidents.
Act as company representative during all site health and safety inspection visits; communicate outcome and resolutions of such visits.
Collaborate with the global IPL group in the sharing of information, strategies, and site activities.
Perform all other tasks required by the position and depending on the circumstances.
