Come and join our Energy team within the Flow Equipment division in Leeds as our Technical Lead Project Engineer. We are looking for a talented Lead Engineer who is a natural leader, great communicator, highly motivated, innovative and has a strong engineering background and great leadership qualities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you lead the projects and provide outstanding technical knowledge seeing projects from design to completion supporting us to drive the business to the next level.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Being the first point of contact from the Engineering department for technical support i.e., customer, supplier, and internal related queries for assigned projects
Arranging for technical support on activities for the assigned projects
Attending kick off, contract award discussions, client meetings & internal technical meetings
Supporting technical questions relating to drawings and technical data (including vendor drawings and data) issued to the customer
Supporting and driving continuous process and tool development, participating in global design & standardisation initiatives
Liaising with the customer to clarify any technical questions and problems during the production process, particularly circumstances requiring customer approval
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Mechanical Engineering Degree (or equivalent)
HNC/Equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
Experience of working within a multi-disciplined engineering team is required
Technical experience in projects and/or complex engineering activities
Knowledge of package related products
Approval of technical documents
Direct communication with suppliers and customers
Leadership skills
Change management skills
Influencing and persuasion skills
Commercial acumen
