Title:
Security Controller
Location – Leatherhead/Hybrid (with 2-3 days in the office)
The Role
The Security Controller is responsible to the President, KBR GSI (in their role as the KBR GSI P&P Board Level Contact for UK Government Security) for all aspects of security within KBR GSI P&P offices.
Responsibilities
Ensure FSC and IPSA compliance with UK Government laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
Manage daily security operations at KBR GSI P&P offices, including vetting, aftercare, and access control
Contribute to strategic plans aligning with KBR GSI P&P’s business strategy and future capabilities
Implement and monitor security controls to protect classified assets at KBR GSI P&P offices
Develop and manage an effective personnel security culture, including policy, risk assessment, and general security processes
Implement National Security Vetting aftercare for KBR GSI P&P and subordinate organisations
Manage aftercare activities efficiently, coordinating with HR and Welfare as needed
Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities
Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and culture in compliance with FSC requirements and GocS007 demands
What We Need
Previous experience in security management, ideally in a leadership or supervisory role.
Proven experience in conducting risk assessments, developing security policies, and managing security systems is highly desirable.
Must be a UK National and have a 5-year footprint in the UK in order to obtain relevant security clearance.
