Maintain physical plant in a sanitary manner. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the facility.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and safety of exterior of plant
Maintain all restrooms in a sanitary manner throughout the plant
Remove all refuse from the interior of the plant and deposit in containers outside of the plant
Minimize water usage and the generation of wastewater within the scope of the position
Maintain offices throughout the plant and ensure cleanliness
Maintain all areas of the plant to ensure cleanliness
Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Requirements
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
2 to 5 years of experience in janitorial
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Able to follow directions and carry out instructions
Able to effectively work in a team environment
Able to legibly write entries for record keeping
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Must be able to read, write and speak English
