Execution Systems team in Johnson & Johnson deals with all aspects of process and logistic automation, implementing innovative technology solutions to streamline manufacturing processes and ensure production quality in compliance with the regulatory requirements of the pharmaceutical industry.

Developing driven solutions is relevant part of our work, being involved in designing robotics systems and other software solutions for the pharma sector with a high technological impact, in line with Industry 4.0.

You will have the opportunity to join the Execution Systems team, more specifically the group in charge of the design of the solutions in the automation area, while defining and developing the continuous improvement program to make automation systems and related hardware/software infrastructures more and more efficient and reliable.

You will also collaborate with other Sites and global Johnson & Johnson functions, to embrace new initiatives and contribute to the definition of the automation strategic roadmap.

On one hand you will be key to manage the collaboration with different departments structuring the design of new solutions with them and suppliers; on the other hand, technology evolves and is improved during daily work to increase the efficiency of processes step by step. It is therefore a particularly challenging role, flawless for those who want to be ahead of the market of robotics and automation, entering a new pharma industrial revolution phase that focuses heavily on inter-connectivity, machine learning, and real-time data.

Qualifications

We want to hear from YOU if you have:

  • Computer Engineering or Automation master's degree.

  • Relevant technical experience in IT technologies applied in automation environment.

  • 2 years of experience in automation within pharmaceutical environment.

  • Experience in CSV and GxP compliant environment.

  • Experience working in a global, virtual team in sophisticated matrix organizations.

  • Analytical thinking, structured approach to identify potential benefits and structure them into business cases.

  • Ability to build strong working partnerships, trust and credibility at all levels.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and organization skills required.

  • Proficiency in English is required (B2 level or above)

Other qualifications that will be considered as a plus:

  • Shown experience with Automation technologies (PLC, HMI/SCADA, Communication Drivers, Data Historians, Wireless Communications, Safety Systems, Loop Controllers).

  • Shown experience in Information Technologies (Networking, Operating Systems, Virtual Computing, Databases).
