Job Title: Entry Level Industrial Maintenance Technician (1st Shift)
24 - 28 per hour
7am - 4pm
Job Description
Seeking a entry level Industrial Maintenance Technician to learn about performing repairs and maintenance to maintain production at target efficiencies. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing production and plant equipment, performing preventive maintenance tasks, and ensuring a safe, clean, and organized work environment. The position requires working on packaging, palletizing, and CNC/manual machinery, as well as building maintenance tasks. Candidates must be highly alert, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Hard Skills
Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Technical knowledge of production-related equipment
Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals (mechanical and electrical)
Familiarity with product application
Lockout Tagout experience
Forklift and scissor lift experience
Pneumatics - troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems
Low and High Voltage Motors (Single Phase, Three Phase)
Sensor Eyes troubleshooting and repair
Proximity Sensors troubleshooting
Routers and CNC machine tooling changes
Soft Skills
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Ability to work accurately, thoroughly, and meet deadlines
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Work Environment
The position is based in a climate-controlled, well-lit manufacturing facility dedicated to door production. The typical work schedule is from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime, holidays, and weekends as required by production demands.
