Role: Director, Healthcare Professional (HCP) Medical Education US Marketing - Schizophrenia

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of HCP Medical Education Marketing to spearhead the HCP medical education efforts for psychiatry with a focus on schizophrenia. The HCP Medical Education Marketing Director will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives targeted towards healthcare professionals (Psychiatrists and Psych NP/PAs). This role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to drive high impact medical education programs. This role will report directly to the Executive Director, Healthcare Professional Marketing, Neuroscience.

Key Responsibilities- include but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive HCP medical education strategy and launch plan focused on schizophrenia, in collaboration with cross-functional teams including medical affairs, sales and regulatory.

  • Design and develop educational materials, resources, and tools tailored to the needs and preferences of HCP audiences, including case studies and interactive learning modules.

  • Identify and engage KOLs and subject matter experts to support medical education initiatives focused on schizophrenia. Foster relationships with KOLs to gain insights, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with the company's goals.

  • Collaborate with key opinion leaders (KOLs), academic institutions, and professional organizations in the field of psychiatry and mental health to develop educational content, secure faculty expertise, and facilitate knowledge exchange and peer-to-peer learning opportunities.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of medical education programs and activities through pre- and post-assessments, participant feedback, and performance metrics to measure knowledge acquisition, behavior change, and impact on clinical practice.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to the HCP medical education team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

  • Effectively partner with HCP Medical Education of Record, providing clear expectations, guidance and feedback to agency.

Qualifications & Experience

  • BS/BA degree required. MBA preferred.

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in marketing within pharmaceutical medical education or healthcare communications, with a focus on schizophrenia or mental health therapeutic area preferred.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience leading cross-functional teams, managing complex projects, and driving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Previous people leadership experience, with a track record of success in developing talent and building winning teams.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment with a thorough understanding of FDA regulations and guidelines governing pharmaceutical marketing.

  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

  • Passion for making a positive impact on patient lives and advancing mental health treatment, advocacy, and access to quality care.

  • Neuroscience experience strongly preferred.

  • U.S. launch experience strongly preferred.

  • Willing to travel up to 25%
