Mississippi Employer Storeroom Clerk in Laurel, Mississippi
Minimum Requirements: • Must be able to read and write printed and verbal communication • Must be 21 or older with a clean driving record • Must have basic computer knowledge and willingness to undergo training to work with computer applications and other equipment used in daily operations
Job Description: • Attention to detail • Must be able to work as part of a team in a fast paced warehouse environment • Able to engage in routine walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting of 25 pounds or more • Processing all paperwork according to type • Receive in and inspect deliveries and accompanying paperwork for accuracy and process each according to type of delivery or document • Escalate discrepancies and/or complications regarding received products, deliveries, or PO receiving processes to appropriate Purchasing team member • Separate products and orders by their subsequent destinations • Deliver orders to on site locations, providing customer support as needed • Keep work areas neat and tidy • Assist with any out-bound shipments that need processing • Assist with off-site deliveries/pickups as needed • Assist other areas within department as needed/able • Participate in yearly inventory which is conducted over a weekend in September • Other duties as assigned
